Dinner with a perfect stranger

Hello Miss MMM reviewees, today I shall review Dinner with a perfect stranger.
Central values and moral lessons:
This book is about the arguments of why Christianity works; on top of that, it shows how to spread the gospel. The focus is on letting God soften the heart and giving the other person the information they need to choose whether they will follow God or Satan.

 Darkness and boo-boos
Mortuary mention, drown mentioned twice, mention of buried. Mentions previous experience of being tricked into fake cement shoes and tossed into a pool. Mention of a plan in a recollection to smoke bomb a teacher lounge. Spanking mention.
When the two are talking about human evils, they mention abuse, wars, and people killed. Holocaust mention. Lord of the Flies mentioned brutality. Murder mention, mentions drugs like heroin. Slave and chattel mention. Mentions death of father. It talks a bit about the scars from the crucifixion and the crucifixion itself, which is impossible to avoid since it is a Christian book about spreading the gospel.
Bad word use:
Mentions cursing but does not put any bad words. A song is called Lame.
Potty humor: None is found

Love-Dovey things:
Nick Comminsky is Married, a bachelor party is mentioned, mentions of a marriage retreat. Mention of a boy and girl both 20s looking at each other lovingly and holding hands. Mention of mother driving father away. Mention of the Mary story where she had to trust God in becoming the mother of Jesus before marrying Joseph. Mention of parenting books. Mention of Muhammad marrying a 9 year old child.

Immodesty: Mentions Nick comminsky who is the main character considering to look in ladies bathroom to see if his two pranking buddies Les and Bill were hiding in there. He doesn’t actually and no guy is hiding there. The club is mentioned, but it is just golfing.

Drinking heavy liquids:
Wine mention.

I really recommend this book, 10/10 milk chocolate green M and Ms.
It is a fantastic way of showing how to calmly and kindly strip away the logic barriers to get to the emotional wall of why they choose to reject God.
9Probably middle school age specifically 12 and up, the rest of these books are phenomenal as well.
However 1 is the one that is the most highly recommended for kids while 2-5 of the series discuss pretty heavy content so it's best to save them for junior-senior of high school
Every book also has study guides in the back, that would be great for devotional time with the family
Will do another review next time on day with a perfect stranger.
